Uno 3 for 3

Uno and I received a Blue Ribbon Award in the mail from the USEA the other day for placing in the top 3 in 3 Intermediates in 2010. For a variety of reasons, none having to do with Uno, Uno only did 3 Intermediates in 2010 and placed 3rd in all three of them. He then finished the season with a 6th place finish in his first Advanced...not too shabby. Hopefully next year he will get to compete a little, well, a lot, more! If he comes out feeling as good as he did last spring we will try to qualify for the Bromont CCI*** in June. Of course it is 3004 miles away and the same weekend as our June Horse Trials so it will be challenging to organize, to say the least. Right now he looks like a fat, furry little pony so we have a bit of work to do before then! Below is a picture of Uno and I with our award and I am also going to try one more time to share the poem my sister wrote for Chauncy and I. Last time I tried I messed up the whole website so fingers crossed for success. I think most horse lovers will be able to relate to at least some parts of the poem so I would like to attemp to share it.
